Siobhan	Aug 1 2008 6:36 AM So two days ago I started a Dean Koontz novel. The beginning involved a girl end up burning to death in a cellar because while she reached the cellar door latch, on it was a spider and she freaks out, reels backwards, and ends up getting bitten and too confused to get back to the doors. I commented to myself how moronic the girl was, even though she was deathly afraid of spiders (deathly, ha). Tonight as I start dozing off, a frickin spider bit me. Karma?
