The Project LV was created in late 2005 by founding members Mike "Lefty" Grinchuk (drums), Ron Kuhn (bass/vocals), and Bryson Klus (guitar/vocals) in a dank basement in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Coming from different bands and facets of the Lehigh Valley punk rock and hardcore scenes, the trio set out to create original, fun, fast-paced rock and roll with the aggressive in-your-face attitude that sparked the punk movement in the first place.
After the release of a four-song demo in early 2006 and several shows, The Project parted ways with original drummer, Lefty. Long-time friend, Nick Zatz O'Connell, was subsequently brought on board mid-'06, and the current lineup was set into motion.
As the time went on, the broad range of musical influences within the group, and constant desire to push themselves musically, took its effect. The sound began to expand from the intial aggressive straight-up punk tunes such as "Sovereignty" and "All or None", with their rapid-fire drumming and shout-along choruses, into more lyrically introspective and musically diverse songs like "One Day at a Time" and "Alma Mater". All the while, never losing that power and energy of the initial raucous sound. Two more self-released demos, a split 7”, countless hours of practice and promotion, and loads of hard work and dedication brings you to the band you have today.
In the few short years that The Project LV has been together, they've had the privilege of sharing the stage with national and international acts such as The Business, Far From Finished, and Angel City Outcasts. They have played a handful of large music festivals, and innumerable shows in the Northeast with many other great local and regional acts, in venues ranging from backyards to nationally-known rock clubs. Whenever the boys take the stage it is with one goal in mind: that is to give every ounce of energy that they have, and show the crowd what a few working-class guys from Eastern Pennsylvania can do. Passion, power and unadulterated love for the music is the name of the game, and these boys have worked their fingers to the bone to do what they love.
With influences from jazz to country/western, to all-out hardcore punk, they play with one simple credo: "It's All or None"

so you were never 17 and drank at a club? you really are a saint to the punk rock scene. we all wish we could be more like you. we played at brenda and jerry's but stayed further away because someone offered to put us up. we did get drunk, high and everything WE like to do. i don't believe we hit on anybodys girlfriends THAT night sir. face it YOU ARE OLD and you sound it. i kept in touch with michelle through the whole process and the show worked out fine. it's also hard to keep in touch with people when you go on tour and can't afford a cell phone! i would call from payphones and hotel rooms and still keep in touch though so don't tell me about the way i do business. we played every show on the tour without a problem. coming on here in the morning and talking to you is becoming a waste of time, i have other peoples girlfriends to attend to.
yeah we're just such dicks. it was our show and we went on first? i dont' know how that's possible, and you guys made the touring band bring their own pa which we couldn't even fit. you guys rule! i wouldn't try booking in the new jersey, maryland area anytime soon, those are just the states i've spoke to so far. if you were cool enough to actually talk to us that day instead of hanging out front and bitching that there's no PA for you mr rockstar maybe we would of hungout. from the moment we got there you made it uncomfortable for a touring band to come to your town and play, and that's just not cool.
