The right girl at the wrong time. The bender that broke you. Hard times and the next round. If you listen close in the background, you’ll hear The Pullman Strike belting out their songs.
Founded by singer/songwriter Nick Shelton, The Pullman Strike takes the earnest punk ethos that Shelton grew up with and juxtaposes that intensity against a rock and country background. Culling from humbling life experiences and a knack for storytelling, The Strike makes great rock n’ roll songs, pure and simple. Shelton’s songs take place under slate grey Midwest skies and arid Nevada deserts, in smoky bars, hotel halls and last calls.
Anchored by guitarist Bobby Mariappuram, the Pullman Strike consists of a revolving door of guests. Depending on the night, you’ll get a raucous rock show or a stripped-down folk set. No matter what the case is, you’ll be glad you showed up. So tip back your drink, talk to that girl and let The Pullman Strike provide the evening’s soundtrack.
I work with Praise. You guys should come to Korea. Your music is exactly the kind I like to listen to when I'm at a bar and getting really wasted and rowdy.
