Mixing sweeping metal melodies with punishing beatdowns, epic crescendos and crushing riffage there is a certain 'take no prisoners' attitude. These boys are only here for the carnage. Having supported the likes of Walls of Jericho, Betzefer, Beecher and Cursed - TPIM...'s live show is a wall of brutal violence which will either leave you in hospital (where the band end up on regular occasions) or hanging onto the bar, drooling into your pint and planning a relaxing holiday in Iceland to recover from the experience.
Formed in 2004, the band has always been a mix of hardcore and metal fans who - when not arguing over what to out on the stereo in the tour bus - find time to blend the genres in a way previously unthought of by the side-swiped emo masses. You won't find any singing; acoustic guitar or concessions here - just a jackhammer violently pummelling your brain from start to finsh. And woe betide anyone left standing.

The Punchline is Murder are much heavier and aggressive than many of their counterparts, and it's for this very reason that these guys are one to watch. Too heavy to be classed as Metalcore, too melodic to be hardcore it's a strange but ear pleasing cacophony of aggressiveness and beauty. Like a sonic assault on your senses their track Modus Vivendi doesn't take any prisoners and blasts straight out of nowhere, no intro, no warning just bludgeoning vocals which demand you pay attention.
