I would describe myself as a simple guy from a simple family who developed a fascination & passion for music listening to the songs of the punjabi legends like Gurdas maan, Surinder Shinda ,Kuldeep Manak a number of classical Indian artists.
I had started dj-ing when I was 12 years old and at that time the Punjabi music industry was growing very rapidly. But soon I got bored of mixing the songs using the instrumentals. This made me develop interest in music production. I got influenced by the artists like Tigerstyle, Rishi Rich, Dr. Zeus, Dj Sanj, Dj Swami, RDB, Fundamental and the list goes on....
Soon I started understanding how to make beats virtually using softwares and mixing songs with em. It took me a lot of time to understand the working of softwares and finally I was able to make my first produced rhythm which I titled as "My Fascination" which was played on BBC RADIO show "FRICTION"!!
Then I started remixing songs. I would describe my music as a fusion of Hip-Hop and classical Indian beats with traditional music using instruments like the Dhol and Tabla. My favorite genre is Asian Fusion as well as UK Bhangra. I'm a big fan of "Specialist n' Truskool" and Tigerstyle as their music has the perfect fusion of raw folk as well as hip hop beats which I like.
For now I've kept remixing and producing as a pastime as I have to concentrate on my studies also.U can expect some big mixes and productions from me after I complete my graduation. Thats all about me. =)
