About me:
DJ Purple started out as a dancer. Her passion for music led to an invitation from DJ Addambombb to become one of those who guided the path of the dancers.
A few months later, DJ Purple made her debut as a DJ at the goth night Termination in Brattleboro, VT. The outstanding response on the dance floor granted her an invitation to spin there again, until the night was closed. Since then, Purple's grooves have been heard at multiple venues all over the Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont...
Her background as a dancer has given her a keen ability to sense the mood of the dance floor by simply judging whether or not she would "groove to it." Because she is "of the people," she has her hand on the pulse of what is popular in the scene, and is always looking for new tunes to bring to the floor.
As a DJ, Purple feels that if the crowd isn't moving, or if she's not taking them somewhere, she's not doing her job.
