If you need all the music you listen to fit perfectly into one category or another, this probably isn't for you.
Sounds Like"Even without the cowboy metaphors, Nevada's Greatest! is an endlessly fascinating blend of pop influences, unpredictable and unexpected, yet somehow familiar at the same time."
- ReGen Magazine

"It also needs to be said that nearly every song on this album is a radio hit waiting to happen. There isn't a song that isn't incredibly catchy and unique in its own way. The lyrics and thought structures are all inventive as well as the overall atmosphere..."
- Heathen Harvest

"Talented and complicated textures are painted over with a second and third coat of sonic paint that produces a thick layer of synths, guitars, vocals, and beats. Lyrically it’s serious as it tackles prolific topics in the political and social arenas yet also explores robotic cowboys."
- Smother Magazine

"Many of the songs are evocative of "futuristic music" from the early 1980s, like Gary Numan, Kraftwerk, and Afrika Bambataa--yet they're still very fresh and the production is exquisitely modern. I can't recommend them highly enough."
- The Spacing Guild Guide to Good Music

"The music is fantastic, an eclectic mix somewhere between electro-pop and an Ennio Morricone score..."

Hi Qualia
The Maybes have been nominated Best Myspace Act at the Danish Music Awards (which is a pretty big deal in Denmark). We’d really like to put that shiny statuette on our mantle piece back home. Please throw a bunch of votes in our direction at Danish Music Awards before Sunday and tell all your friends to do the same.

Thanks a million votes from No and the Maybes!

LIFE'S DECAY

Sep 16 2007 3:24 PM

Greetings,
I hope you're fine !
I'm glad to announce that the Szilentia album is finally AVAILABLE !
The album costs 9euros excluding shipping. You can order it now directly from us via Myspace or via Email. Fast and international shipping as usual !
I remind you that there are 4 tracks from this album to listen to at www.lifesdecay.com via the radio.

Here's a little description of this new album :

"Life's Decay is back with this fourth album! It is composed of 12 tracks made of neo-classical, dark martial industrial and experimental pop music. A better sound quality as well as more variety in the compositions are a part of the evolution of Szilentia which offers a more mature album. So we can find certain tracks there even more accessible and more popular than previously whereas others will be more aggressive and more experimental, without being a return to basics.
Life's Decay remain recognizable through its compositions involving ranges of classical instruments with developed percussions and rhythms, sometimes martial. But the project also continues its search in a wide variety of experimental instruments and sounds which renews ceaselessly the music as well as the concept in which the importance is major.
The presence of certain acoustic instruments can also be felt such as of the accordion, the violin, the bass and the acoustic guitar. Without forgetting the feminine voice which gain in power.
Like every Life Decay's albums, Szilentia comes in a packaging with the lastests retro-luxury artworks that represent perfectly the project's atmosphere."

And finally, here's a photo of it ! :

Thanks for your support & feel free to contact us for more info ! :)
Have a great day.
