The GST Cardinals, HULL, www.myspace.com/gstcardinals Already supported some great acts and headlined the Newcastle MTV2 festival, Currently on tour and looking to make it big in 2008.

The Talks, HULL, www.myspace.com/thetalks Just fresh from being on tour with Neville Staple from The Specials, The Beat and Reverend and The Makers, these Indie Reggae boys know who to get the dance floor moving, currently being played on Steve Lamaq’s show on Radio 1.

The Loose Kites, CHESTER, www.myspace.com/theloosekites A cracking upbeat Indie Folk sound that will get the place lifted. There def one to watch as they are getting some great reviews and radio play.

‘Cfest@Shearer’s Bar’ is a live music night to be held at ‘Shearer’s Sports Bar and Lounge’ on September 27th 2007.

As well as raising awareness of Cystic Fibrosis in the North East and money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, the event offers a great platform for independent bands Malarkey, Show Off Summer, Beyond The Grave and The Longsands.to play in front of an expectant and enthusiastic crowd. It’s a great mix of Indy, Metal, Rock, and Alternative music all held together by brilliant comedian Mat Reed.

Tickets cost £5.00 and are available from Shearer’s Bar, from band members and on www.gigbox.co.uk.

Please Note That This Is An All Ticket Event And Tickets Will Not Be Available On The Door!!

Check out Modern World @ The Quay, Blyth from 7:00pm!

Todays live acts include:

Craig Wosahlo, a talented singer/songwriter from our neighbouring town of Cramlington. Craig makes up part of the band Co-pilot. Check. - and will be performing his solo set tonight.
His genre takes influences from the likes of Jeff Buckly, Bob Dylan, and The Smiths to produce a sound reminiscent of City & Colour and Damien Rice.

Our Second act simply goes by the name "Dave the Happy Singer" - Another solo act - with a difference! Playing the Piano, Acoustic & Electric Guitars, Harmonica, Alto Sax and Ukulele, His set is guarentee'd to get you tapping your feet! - This is sure to be one act you don't want to miss at the Quay!

So come down - Doors Open at 7:00pm and close at 2:00am!
Drinks offers on all night, so get yourselves down for what will be a truly amazing night!
