Howdy partners...Blakey here. Just relaxing on this fine summer day, enjoying a butterfly cookie and an iced triple latte with hazelnut, a dollop of whipped cream & cinnamon sprinkles...all courtesy of my favorite evil corporate coffee chain.
I’ve never written a “bio” on here before, and I’m not going to start now, but I will put a short introduction since I have been working on a few things that might make it onto this page eventually.
So, anyway, about me...I write, play music & paint. I seldom have the time to do all three and rarely do I finish anything I start. That said, I’m still trying. Or, perhaps, I'm just starting new stuff to not finish.
Ahem...
I have new paintings in the works and we have started several new songs that we hope to put out this fall. I’ve been working on putting together the best little home studio that my meager earnings can afford (in other words I’m going into debt) and writing every chance I get. The goal is a well produced EP that represents who I am as an artist and a songwriter.
Soon, I hope to put up a demo of my newest song called “Happiness.”
or some other random demo...
Till then, be well

We are finally ready to start promoting my 'I Surrender' single with my album, 'Ella Trip' coming right after -yey!! What d'ya think to the video teaser?
Hi, The Quilters Sail Everything well? I’m here with a new about my work. It’s the releasing of a remix I produced this summer for Future Shock Records. The track is featured by the female singer Birgit (an incredible voice, for my taste) and it has been a great honour for me to get the chance to work with this Estonian singer. In this case I’m presenting commercial dance music, not trance or electro-trance so I guess it’s an easy listening. Anyway, you have the right word. If you are interested in getting this remix for radio shows or whatever, please, don’t hesitate to contact me. Kind regards and much respect from me.
Hey Blake! What's new with you? Since you
left me a nice comment a while back I just wanted to personally let you
know my two new CD's "Ascension" & "Singles" are now available at
iTunes and btkeys.com/purchase_audio_tracks. I think you'll enjoy them!
Sheet music is also available. Be in touch... bt
Helo, The Quilters Sail. I hope things are going well. I’m here to present you a new ethnical remix with influences of dance and, specially, house music produced for the folk band called Coanhadeira. Real instruments like bagpipes, acoustic guitars and other classical sounds played by the band are included. The track is sung in "gallego", a particlar languaje similar to Portuguesse that's spoken where me and this band are living. If you are interested in getting this remix for your radio show, dj sets or whatever, don’t hesitate to contact me, please. Other even more important thing is if you are feeling uncomfortable with this comment, please, send me a private message aswel letting me know about it. This is really important for me! :) Big big hugs.
If you would like a FREE MP3 please send an email to info@lostaura.co.uk RE: FREE MP3, and we'll send you just that!
We're making some finishing touches to our new EP, recorded at The Animal Farm London. Be sure to head back soon and have a listen :) Come by and say hello anytime.
Helo, The Quilters Sail I’m just stopping by to promote a new house remix featured by Dahveed, a really cool male singer from Illinois (USA). The track is called ‘Give It To The World’ and it’s a mixture between house music and my usual trance style. We are handing out promos for djs, radios, etc (if you are interested, of course). New productions will be coming soon… Please, keep me updated about all your news and releases too. Many thanks for your attention and reading Iris :)
hello, long time no talk hope all is well over your way. anything new and exciting youd like to share feel free! one more day and the weekend is here hope you have an amazing weekend =]
Hey, just thought i'd keep you updated on whats going on. Left For Dead Ep is available to download from the 7th May on www.noobishrecords. com and will include Energy Flow/Space Riot. Thanks for your support and keep in touch :)
Helo, The Quilters Sail I hope everything’s going great. I haven’t been too inspired in the last weeks but, finally, I have something new to present: It’s a remix of the commercial track ‘Tanto’ (‘So Much’ in English) featured by the Mexican band Azara (www. myspace. com/azara) who will be performing in Spain next month. My remix is not exactly to jump as mad on the dancefloors cos it’s only at 120 bpm but, anyway, it’s cool for… maybe relaxing :-) About its style it is a kind of electro-trance but you know I’m a mess talking about styles. Whatever feedback, idea you have to improve it, etc will be always welcome. Then, if you think I deserve your vote in thedjlist (I’m IRIS DEE JAY there) it will be more than welcome aswel! Hugs from me and tons of thanks!:-)
Helo, The Quilters Sail ! I hope everything’s going well. I’m stopping by to present my new remix of the storming tune ‘Dusk Till Dirt’, made by the UK duo Mac & Taylor (www. myspace. com/macandtaylor) Honestly, I think their original version is much better than my work but, as I always say, this is just a matter of taste. Their track is a hard trance master piece (in my opinion). Mine is a melodic one. If you have the chance to visit myspace, please, remember I keep on looking for votes for thedjlist (I’m registered as IRIS DEE JAY). If, after taking a listen, you think a deserve your support, it will be really welcome. Please, don’t hesitate to contact me if I can help u in some way too.

Hey The Quilters Sail!
I think you are one of my HOTTEST FRIENDS, so I nominated you for my Hot Friends list. But are you really HOT enough to be on Hotties for Sale? Find out!
Helo The Quilters Sail ¡ Everything well?I’ve been experimenting a bit with my music in the last weeks and, this time, the Northamerican male singer Jon Davidson (www. myspace. com/jondavidsonmusic) has given me the chance to remix his track ‘Hermit Crab’. Jon is a rock singer so I think the best thing I could do is making a kind of breakbeat style mixed with my classical trance and electro music. I haven’t produced thinking about dancefloors this time (strange cos I’m a dj but it’s a bit hard to dance at 105 bpm, hehe) Anyway, I’m looking forward to read your feedbacks, good or bad to keep on improving my style in the future. Tons of thanks for your voice, Jon and tons of thanks to you for supporting me. Here we go again! I know I'm such a bore with this but if you think I deserve your vote in thedjlist, it will be really welcome. I'm registered as IRIS DEE JAY. As I said, sorry for being a bore with this :-/
Thanks Blake, I am very happy- in fact, probably 180 from where I was a few years ago... but enough about me, how are you? We need to get coffee and catch up- maybe sometime when Katie could come also.
Hey Blake...it feels like forever, so thought I would say Hello and see what you've been upto! Nice to see you have some music up...more coming maybe??? hope you enjoyed your holidays!!!
Hey Darlin' Thanks for the lovely compliments. I like your new layout as well.:) It is definitely that busy time of the year. I am sure we will catch up soon. Have an amazing holiday if we don't talk before Xmas. Enjoy your time with the family!. Take care xx
