The Quirky is fresh, quirky rock/pop that talks about the harsh in a cheery, sometimes sarcastic manner.
Started as an acoustic act, it has grown into this dynamic four piece, fronted by a squirrel-donkey-rabbit mongrel, a giraffe on guitar, mole on bass and penguin on drums.
"It wasn’t till 9 that the gig got going and The Quirky exploded on scene. Under the dim light, Zee, Tim, Brian and Mike sang and played about the sad things in the world while Zee entertained us with her antics. The Quirky is well, quirky with a metal edge gunning to record an album this year on the lines of anti-war and anti-establishment." /www.ukevents.net/
Venues we have played at include: Rhythm Factory, Bull and Gate, Fiddler's Elbow, Hope and Anchor and many other. While doing the usual London circuit, The Quirky has also headlined bigger shows at Roundhouse (Quirky Music Night, Nov 3rd 2007) and Slimelight (Goth Mayhem Live, March 22nd, 2008)

Once upon a time there was a small group of nervously twiching creatures who felt sorry for the poor little ant who got his head blown away by a fungus the little group tried desperatelly to find a way to free the ant....
Hey, great songs, thanks for the Add! I hope you´ll like my new songs, too. I really needed to do them, I had no other choice. All you people out there in the streets of these big cities, with your stories, your lifes, your laughters and your crys, you inspirate me every new day.
