If there's a band that has the original take of the 60s, it's The Quirky. Absolutely engaging on-stage performance, starting from Mike's (drums) exhibitionist manner of playing to Zee's spontaneous and improvised interactions with the audience. Watch out for Brian's (bass) middle finger and Tim's (guitar, vox) amazingly deep growls..
Led Zeppelin meets Kate Bush. .
"It wasn’t till 9 that the gig got going and The Quirky exploded on scene. Under the dim light, Zee, Tim, Brian and Mike sang and played about the sad things in the world while Zee entertained us with her antics. The Quirky is well, quirky with a metal edge gunning to record an album this year on the lines of anti-war and anti-establishment." /www.ukevents.net/
