A: "I found the track and loved it, but JAPAN hated it! He said it sounded old fashioned and he thought that we needed a girl to come in and sing the hook. But he trusted me and allowed me to guide us and that song brought us closer together."

J: "I don't remember writing or recording this song. I was still mourning the loss of Anna Nicole Smith when we did it and all I remember is being really sad and sleepy. But "Fans" is blazin! It's really hott & dirty & sweaty and southern and yall should REALLY be playin that shit this summer!"
