Sounds Like “Snotty heavy punk. Dead Boys, Gorilla Biscuits. Good for picking up slutty Jersey girls.” – Hybrid Magazine

"If Kurt Cobain lived to become a member of Motorhead, it might prove reminiscent of The Radishes" - East Bay Express (Oakland, CA)

"A cocktail of rock, punk, metal and psych-pop." - Performer Magazine

"I've always been a sucker for dirty garage rock with a punk rock twist, the kind of muddy rock 'n' roll that goes perfect with an afternoon beer and a sweaty roll-around...The Radishes are one such band." - Ink19

"A good rock band has to rock, and The Radishes can rock!" - I Rock Cleveland

"...rocking our eardrums' nuts off!" - The Tripwire

"(I) was ready for a quick mental cleanse of the kind that The Radishes are fond of administering...simple riffs repeated fast and loud, driving bass and drums...acidic vocals that scream alienation, anger, and irony." - 3hive

"It's certainly more of a sludgey garage rock vibe more so than anything else we can place. Think Fun House-era Stooges or the entire catalog from The Hellacopters." - The Culture Of Me

   About The Radishes
The Radishes are a San Francisco/Los Angeles based band with a sound that has been described as Nirvana meets Motorhead. Other influences include such high-energy units as The White Stripes, The Stooges, Ministry, The Hives, Artic Monkeys, Scratch Acid, and NIN, with hooky, angular guitar lines, ferocious vocals, relentless drumming, and a unique, darkly ironic approach to songwriting.

Most recently, The Radishes teamed up with legendary underground bassist Paul Barker (Ministry, Revolting Cocks, Lard, etc.) and drummer Rey Washam (Ministry, Scratch Acid, Rapeman) and Wayne Kramer of the MC5 on 2008's Strychnine EP. Yeow!

this is not a very interesting comment. i'm not saying anything worth reading, or even worth writing. in fact i'm just sitting here tying whatever, and for no reason too.
