Determined to put the bite back in alternative rock music the Rapport’s sharp choppy riffs are carefully mixed with pop hooks to give 2min 30 sec chunks of energetic excitement. The rhythm section of Facundo Rodriguez (drums) and Ben McKenna (bass) have an unnatural intuitive connection, with both unconsciously predicting and inviting the others every movement, a great talent which comes from their years of experience playing together. Andy McGlynn, who is seemingly effortless in switching between harsh carving grinds, slow deep bluesy rhythms, and soft atmospheric lead, handles the guitars. Front man Sean Woods, with fast spat and intelligent lyrics, rapped in catchy and intriguing melodies, tops off the sound.
A 2CD limited edition of the classic debut album 'Immigrants, Emigrants and Me' containing all 14 original tracks plus the debut “A Little Piece of God” ep and various b-sides, will be released on 1st March 2010. Pre-order @ One Hundred Percent Music
