Strange... but true. Trumpet player goes to see a "soul" band, feels let down by it being yet another naff cabaret act. That night he has a dream about starting a real soul band. Next day he visits a friend from bands he had played in years ago and recounts this dream. They make plans, make some calls, involve musicians who play soul with soul which leads inexorably to... The SoulTrain.
