    The RAZORQUILLZ' history begins in 2007, when guitarist Alia left her former band to start her own group, in which she would handle both guitar and vocal duties. Despite unstable line-ups, this early incarnation quickly made an impact on the local scene through their energetic live shows. After several changes, the current line-up started to come together when Brazil-native drummer Vee Nife relocated from London to Berlin in 2008 to pursue his goal of joining a band, which he found in The RAZORQUILLZ. The band was finally completed when bass player Alex Cess auditioned in early 2009. The band hit it off so well they decided to remain a three-piece and after only three months they entered the Tonbrauerei studio in Berlin to record the material for the first album. It was released on April 2nd 2010 under the title "Don't Think In Words" on Drumming Monkey Records. Transcending genre limitations, they combined raw female vocals, blistering guitar solos and a hammering groove to create the ultimate bastard between kick-ass Rock n' Roll, Punkrock, and Hairmetal, prompting fans to ironically label the result "Hair Punk". After having honed their live skills all over Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Poland, and Switzerland alongside acts such as The Adolescents, U.S. Bombs, or The Unseen, The RAZORQUILLZ finished another stint at the studio recording a new three-song- EP. It was exclusively released online during summer 2011, coinciding with the theatrical opening of the award-winning movie "Abgebrannt", which features several RAZORQUILLZ songs. In the meantime, the trio has been writing lots of new material in between assorted live appearances, so the next step will be entering the studio again to record the long-awaited follow-up album to "Don't Think In Words", currently scheduled for January 2012.
