An alumnus of North Carolina Central University music department Bionik has been in the music field since 1995. He started his career as a piano teacher in Chester, VA working with elementary school children. Since then his focuses have changed to the music industry. He joined Keo Music Recordings in 2001 in which he worked as an intern to promote the Neo-Soul phenomenon Yazarah. Since the formation of Deviant Son Music, his specialty has shifted to recording and production.
