I would like to meet my wonderful fans who have made all of the difference in the world to me. I offer my heartfelt and sincere thanks to you all. This is the only authorized Gary Busey profile on MySpace. This space is a friendly place for you to get to know me, the real Busey. I do read the comments and respond when possible.
Other than acting, a side of me you may not know about is my activism for Traumatic Brain Injury. I nearly lost my life back in 1988 after a motorcycle accident in California. I came down the road going 45 miles per hour, and my bike hit sand. I fish tailed and went into the curb head first and split my skull wide open, and knocked a hole in it as big as a 50-cent piece. If I had been three minutes later arriving at the hospital, I would have been dead. I care about human life, and I care about my fans. If you come by my profile, and let me know you promise to always wear a helmet when you ride, and that you will encourage those you love and care about to do the same, I will do my best to personally comment your profile with my appreciation. I have also posted transcripts from a few of my latest interviews on this topic in my blog. Let's make a difference one person at a time.
Thank you all,

Gary Busey
