As an actress whose exotic magnificence is complemented by her brains and a flair for comedy, Candace Kita is truly a rare breed.

Born in Los Angeles but raised in England, Belgium and Texas, she graduated from college with degrees in philosophy and contemporary religion. Also musically gifted, Candace has performed with the Palm Beach Symphony Orchestra in Palm Beach, Florida playing the flute. After pursuing postgraduate work in sociology, she chose to pursue her dream of acting.

Shortly after arriving in Hollywood, Candace became a series regular lead in all 40 episodes of FOX TV’s (kid’s show), The Masked Rider. She went on to take series regular roles in Son of the Beach on the FX Network, Running with Scissors on the Oxygen Network and Dance Fever on ABC Family.

Her most notable series recurring role was on ABC’s Complete Savages, portraying Mel Gibson’s ill-fated girlfriend, Misty, doomed to die a new and horrible death at the end of each episode.

As a guest star, Candace’s credits include Two and a Half Men, The Wayans Brothers, VIP, Method and Red, Smith, Pepper Dennis, Quintuplets, Girlfriends, Felicity, Even Stevens, Phil of the Future, Wall to Wall Records, Beck and Call, The Probe, Big Happy, Movies at Our House, Miriam Teitelbaum: Homicide, and The Sweet Spot.

On the big screen, Candace can be seen in the Adam Sandler and Kevin James comedy I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. She also appeared in last year’s remake of The Bad News Bears with Billy Bob Thornton and Greg Kinnear, Stealing Time with Jennifer Garner, and Barb Wire with Pamela Anderson.

As a model with prestigious print agency Wilhelmina, Candace walked the catwalk for Diesel, XOXO and Brighton among others. And she can be seen in the Modern American Pinup Calendar.
