The Real Deal is backboned by a core of hard working, career musicians, notably Steve "The Rainman" Rainey on drums, and Alonzo "Zo" Smith on bass. The rest of the band is a conglomeration of talented area musicians that read's like a who's who of the south-eastern Wisconsin music scene: Multi- talented Paul Emersun lead guitarist and strong vocals magnify the crowd -pleasing element . "Funky" Michael Coleman and Jason "Mr. Slick Fingers" Kent are often seen slingin' the six string, Archie Parks and Larry{Shuga Bear}Thomas are seen behind the ivories, astounding vocals by female vocalists: Antoinette Slater,Ivy Ford and Staja are heard out front and we are currently in the process of incorporating a three-piece horn section. We plan to release our first original CD in 2009!!!

The Real Deal is somewhat of a Kenosha institute. They've garnered a strong following and play at some of the area's most premeir establishments. Monday Night Open Jams hosted by the Real Deal have become a Kenosha tradition. They held court at the famous Captain Mike's for years, and currently are at the Starlite Club every other Monday night. Their blend of blues, jazz, funk, r&b, & rock excites crowds everywhere they play. The Real Deal averages between 15-25 dates a month, making them some of the hardest working and most popular musicians in the area.

How about this for a web-graphic? The saved file looks great but sometimes my-space lowers the quality by making the graphic smaller. The original is full-page and looks really cool.

A huge THANK YOU for helping us in making Kenosha Bloomin’ Days ‘09 blossom
Despite the clouds and rain on Saturday, the streets were filled with great music. It takes a lot of planning and dedication to bring Kenosha Bloomin’ Days to life, but we could not do it without you. Please accept our heartfelt thanks.
