I WAS BORN BY THE RIVER IN A LITTLE TINT...JUST KIDDING. I WAS BORN IN CHICAGO IN '83 SO I AM AN 80'S BABY. I CAN REMEMBER A LOT OF THINGS IN MY CHILDHOOD DAYS THERE. MOVING AROUND FROM NEIGHBORHOOD TO NEIGHBORHOOD, BEING RAISED IN THE ICKES HOMES TO CALIFORNIA ST. TO INGLESIDE, OFF 63RD AND COTTAGE GROVE. FROM THE SOUTH SIDE TO THE WEST SIDE AND BACK TO THE SOUTH SIDE.
NEVER REALLY HAVING A LIKE FOR MUSIC TOO MUCH BUT, MY FAVORITE ARTISTS THEN WERE SIR MIX-A-LOT WHEN HE HAD THE SONG "BABY GOT BACK", MARY J. BLIGE "WHAT'S THE 411" AND JANET JACKSON "JANET". OF COURSE MY MOM AND DAD PLAYED THEIR CLASSICS FROM THE MID TO LATE 70'S TO THE EARLY 90'S. SO I'VE BEEN EXPOSED TO A LOT OF SOULFUL MUSIC.
IN '93 I MOVED FROM CHICAGO TO ARKANSAS AND HAD A BIT OF A HARD TIME ADAPTING, THOUGH I DIDN'T SHOW IT MUCH. IT WAS OBVIOUS BY MY SCHOOL WORK THOUGH. BUT I NEVER WAS RETAINED AND PROCEEDED TO GET BETTER IN MY STUDIES.
I REALLY DIDN'T FIND THE LOVE FOR MUSIC UNTIL '97 WHEN I BOUGHT MY FIRST CD BY WYCLEF JEAN "THE CARNIVAL". AFTER THAT I WAS HOOKED ON THE SOUND OF MUSIC AND HOW IT CAN MAKE YOU FEEL. IN '99 WHEN I FIRST HEARD SCREWED AND CHOPPED MUSIC I HONESTLY DIDN'T LIKE IT, BUT LIKE A LOT OF PEOPLE I'VE CAME ACROSS, I DO BELIEVE IT IS AN ACQUIRED TASTE. TO SIMPLY PUT IT, IF YOU LOVE MUSIC AND HAVE A FAVORITE SONG, THEN YOU'LL LOVE THAT SAME SONG SCREWED AND CHOPPED.
I GOT MORE ACQUAINTED TO SCREWED-N-CHOPPED MUSIC BY LISTENING TO ITS PIONEER, DJ SCREW AND HIS PREDECESSOR DJ MICHAEL "5000" WATTS. I ALSO GREW FOND OF THE STYLE WHEN I WAS ABLE TO CREATE IT MYSELF.
I'VE BEEN A DJ ON MIXTAPES SINCE '99. I'VE PLAYED AT HOUSE PARTIES AND SMALL EVENTS. I AM WITH THE DJ TEAMS MIXTAPE RENEGADEZ, HOOD HARD HITMAKERS AND GRIND SQUAD DJS. I'VE HOSTED MY OWN TWO HOUR RADIO SHOW ON WSOUF (DUB SOUF) INTERNET RADIO, "DJ DEE RADIO" ON WEDNESDAYS FROM 9P.M.-11P.M.

There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.

I would like to share with you something I was moved to write::
I hope you are doing great my friends... and i hope you are copeing with MJ's flight into the heavens.... We are all sadden and hurt.. but we must keep the faith.. as Michael Says, and keep going and show how he has touched our lives. I'am proud to be a Michael Jackson Fan...from the beginning to the end.. i have never lost faith in Mike and i never will... Please allow me to walk beside Michael and be like a shadow to him... I'am happy that individuals feel that i sound like him,, and remind them of his sweet voice... But there is only one Michael Jackson, and their will never be another... He's a icon of epic porportions... I'am glad to of been the generation that got to see him up close and witness his magic... I'am always thinking of you Michael day and night.. and i only hope you are looking down on us, and never leave us alone....for we are not alone... You have givin us the opportunity to see the limits of Gods power when he bless someone with a Gift... You are surely a work of Art, a Masterpiece that is glorious to behold. Your entire body would execute moves that would boggle the mind... and dazzle one's eyes. How can we not watch you when you are in your Zone... The Stage bow down to you , and the Mic sings your praises.. We have heard you and we believe you were from God... and have returned to live forever in his kindom.
