This is both a personal and a music site. The songs here represent a tiny smattering of a few musical sketches I have done over the past few years. They don't exactly represent any one style, nor do I particularly adhere to only one style. The currently posted tracks all fall in the instrumental category and are mostly electronic in nature. Even the newest of the bunch is still a couple of years old. Hopefully soon I will be able to update them.
Also, though it was some time back, as some of you know, I used to be the lead vocalist and guitarist for a three piece Memphis based band called April Moon. For the sake of posterity, some of the songs can still be heard at myspace.com/aprilmoonmusic. I only mention this because some people have complained that the tracks posted here are exclusively instrumental. I am currently in the process of building a new project / band. Details will be released when they come available. It might be a little while. Life has dealt some interesting turns in the past couple of years. Blessings to you all...
Hey man... I went to see Radiohead in Atlanta last week (on Thurs). Wow... Wow... Truly remarkable and incomparable!! Probably the best concert I've ever seen. If you ever have the prime opportunity to go see them live, seize it! You will not regret.
Kent... I hope all is well my man! It has been a while. We def. need to catch up soon. Hey, I have a music tip for you... If you haven't already, you should check out the band M83. I'm a big fan, and I think their stuff is right up your alley. FYI - They just released their latest LP, 'Saturdays=Youth', and it's fantastic. (Their entire catalog is great, though.) You can find a good review of the album on Pitchforkmedia if you're curious. Check 'em out. I'd love to hear what you think later on. Anyway, let's get together soon.
With Randy being gone on tour, I had plenty of time to catch up on my movie watching. Most recently I watched The Phildelphia Story starring Katharine Hepburn, Cary Grant and James Stewart.
