Growing up in New York City the young woman that would be known as K. Foxx was surrounded by the urban sounds of the streets and the creative energy of the city. She honed her talents as a dancer in high school while attending the Professional Performing Arts School. Studying with the world renowned Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre she knew her path was toward the world stage.
After high school she ventured down south to attend historic Shaw University. It was in college K. Foxx ventured into radio and television in the North Carolina market. Serving as a trailblazer, her million dollar vocals were heard simultaneously at various radio markets to include Radio One Station WQOK 97.5 and Hot104.5 WCCG. Her striking beauty was seen for the first time on a large scale while hosting the nationally syndicated television show called "Hip-Hop Nation".

North Carolina was only the stepping stone for something bigger for K.Foxx.

After recognizing her talent programming director, Cedric Hollywood recruited K. Foxx as a Jock for South Florida's WEDR 99 Jamz. In no time she landed the premier 6pm-11pm time slot hosting the renowned radio show THE TAKEOVER with partner and national recording artist DJ Khaled. THE TAKEOVER did just that and is still rated number one in the South Florida radio market. Television came calling soon after with her landing slots on Telemundo's hip hop show THE ROOF and UPN's TOSS IT UP. Recognized as one of the top air personalities K.Foxx was voted Best female air personality in 2007 in the Miami newspaper the New Times, and voted Best Radio Personality by the Broward new times 2008. Also in 2007 , K.Foxx released her calendar, "I AM EVERY WOMAN" to rave reviews. In the calendar, K.Foxx depicts women of color that have inspired her. "I wanted to do something a little different from all of the eye candy calendars that were out there "I wanted to give inspiration to young females and also pay homage to the ladies that inspired me."

K.Foxx's dedication to the community is always paramount to her. She visits high schools, speaks to trouble youth and host non violence rallies. Her recent endeavor "The Kfoxx Princess Project" gives female high school seniors the chance to have the prom of their dreams. These are young ladies who have excelled in their studies while going through adversities in their lives. "This project is dear to me because I wanted to give back to young ladies who have excelled in school but may not have the means to really enjoy the one night of their life that should be a cornerstone in their development" Most recently she has was voted Best air personality in 2008 by Broward counties New Times publication.

K.Foxx's voice can be heard all week on Hot 97 WQHT New York from 5:30am-10:00am, but her presence can be felt throughout the world. From numerous magazine shoots, music video, and national television shows K.Foxx is becoming a global figure in the entertainment world.
