Kimberly Thomas the Princess of praise and worship is bringing a new element of worship to the nations! With dynamic creativity, Kimberly is defining a new Christian music genre by combining Gospel and Christian Contemporary with urban and alternative styles. With God given talents, gifts and versatility she is taking this new element of Praise & Worship beyond the borders of her hometown, Chattanooga, TN and into the world for the edification of the Body of Christ!
At an early age Kimberly began singing in her father church in Chattanooga, TN. It was there she developed an unconditional love for all genres of music. Kimberly often says, “My father put no restrictions on the types of music he exposed us to; therefore I developed a love for it all, from Country to Gospel.” At the age of 16 Kimberly was moved into the position of Praise & Worship Leader at her home church World Restoration Center in Chattanooga, TN. It brings her great honor to say that she has served faithfully in her father’s ministry for over 20 years singing and playing instruments.
She has shared the stage with gospel greats such as the Rev. Timothy Wright. And has had the distinct honor of working with world renowned Grammy award winning artist Phil Driscoll, providing background vocals for two of his exceptional projects. Kimberly has two college degrees. She has an Associates of Science in General Education from Chattanooga State College; and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Middle Tennessee State University.
With experience and a mandate from God, Kimberly is ready to dominate music industry! Currently Kimberly is celebrating the release of her debut album titled, “Now I Can Live”. With Americas next top producer, Ronald Rawls and outstanding song composition from her brother Willie Thomas along with her own creative composition “Now I Can Live” is one of the most anointed praise and worship projects to reach the world. This masterpiece includes hit songs such as, Jesus You Are Lord, Now I Can Live and In All I Do. FREE Music Mastering !
We just picked up some new mastering speakers and would like to put them to the test.
We are going to give out FREE mastering sessions. Feel free to submit 1 song for our consideration and if we accept the work we will notify you before we start work on your song.
Each song will take approximately 1 day so please give us some time to complete the work.
What should you send?
This is the most important part.
1. No crappy recordings. If it sounds bad to start with I cannot help. The recording must be commercial quality.
2. There must not be ANY compression or LIMITING on the final mix. If you do not know what this is then talk to the engineer that did the work. If he does not know what that is then call me. Your mix should be very very bouncy and it should NOT go into the RED at any point. Distortion in the overall mix is Baaaaaaaaaaad.
3. I will not accept MP3's. This is one of the worst formats to work in and the sound quality is terrible. Regardless of how much it is used it is bad. Trust me. We need either a WAVE or a AIF file. Not an MP3 that has been converted BACK into a better file but a file that started out as a WAVE or AIF and is still that format.
4. Feel free to ZIP the file to save space.
5. If you cannot email your file I can give you some alternatives ways to send me the songs.
6. I need your honest feedback after the work is done. Not "It will work" or "it sounds ok". I need feedback. Mastering is an art and I have been doing it for 25 years. I appreciate feedback and I like working with new artist and new genres of music.
