Nina Ross a.k.a. "The Real" grew up mainly in Philadelphia PA during her childhood to preteen years, moving to Atlanta GA in 1998...she moved all throughout her life and even numerous times in both the two cities. A classic example of the "divine dichotomy" (meaning "two contradicting truths", "balance", "ying yang") she brings to the hip hop music game...the upnorth & downsouth style mixed. This thuggish but charismatic beauty nationality holds a mixture of African-American, Italian, German and Native American, which comes from both sides. Having a blend of an actual "Southern-Northern" accent, Nina's deep masculine yet sultry sexy voice is her most standout trademark. On a track, she is none other than passionate and serious about every line spit but never fails to remember how to keep it witty and playfully catchy. Unlike most female rappers, Nina Ross truly has "the complete package"...talent, beauty in physical & personality, versatility, and most importantly the REALITY that makes her have truly something to rap about. Going through many hardships and tragedies, some even brought on from the rap game itself, still hasn't shaken or breaken God's Warrior. I didn't even know I was being different, until people said it over and over again." The topics of her songs are all a real chapter in her life so she presents it none other than what it is, even when it comes to a perhaps...mishap or misfortunate, indifference ,or even a tragedy.
