Perfect Blue began life in the Summer of 2001 in Manchester. The name came about after watching a Japanese manga film of the same name. The music was initially dance orientated and after a few cds were sent out, Perfect Blue were being aired on the BBC. Fast forward to 2006, a chance meeting between two old friends saw new ideas brought to the fore and since then, the music has somewhat evolved into a trip all of its own. Perfect Blue are currently exploring unchartered territories and right now anythings possible. 2 Eps are currently available - The Sunshine EP on Lona Records and A Gift of Sunshine on Burning Emptiness. Perfect Blue have also contributed Empty Dreams to the Northern Star compilation Psychedelica Vol: 2 and Koyo to the Fourier Transform compilation Brave New Wales. Recording is currently underway for the debut Perfect Blue full-length album, which can be expected in 2008. Watch this space for more announcements shortly!

I enjoy your sound worlds and shapes in time very much, my friend! The quote "One day, all your dreams will come true" is very prophetic, and I can't help but feel a haunting atmosphere when I read that and hear your music. It's as if that quote is calling for me, for you, and for anyone else who wants something to go out into the world and really grab it. There are many shades to the human being, and it seems that you capture hope and beauty most perfectly in your own art. I thank you very much for this excellent inspiration.
