Rant began as a three member band back in the early nineties in Ellsworth ME. Later armed with a new bass player Rant recorded the Sylvatic album and took to the airwaves playing live on several local radio stations. After winning Battle of the Bands, Rant moved their original sound to the road and hit California where they found a loyal following rocking the best of Cali's local venues. Several life changing situations later, and over a decade since their first release, Rant has returned with new members, a new sound, and is on the move again. Rant is now a five member project with influences spanning from the best technical talent from the virtuoso guitar generation, to the brutal edge of todays modern metal. Rant is also currently working on a new album scheduled for release sometime in the spring. Stay tuned for new music and show updates!
