About me:
This is a sister site for http://www.therealtaiwan.com. I have been working for a year already trying to help promote bands in Taiwan and have been happy so far with the turnout. What started as a hobby has turned into a bit of an obsession, but the ultimate goal is to help find reward for the hardworking artists that are making Taiwan a saner place to be. Thanks you guys!
This is for all the bands and artists out there already... Email me (therealtaiwan(at)gmail.com) or send me your show information through myspace and I will get it on http://www.therealtaiwan.com as soon as I can. The first step is getting the band info and gig info set up. We are getting more and more people coming to check out the site, so if there are shows every weekend, it's our hope that music and art enthusiasts will be coming to check on that info weekly.
To all the music and art lovers out there... Stay tuned to the www.therealtaiwan.com website for the latest info on gigs and shows. Everybody knows a night out with a cool band blows away a night at a sleepy bar. Come out and support these guys, who are using their time creatively here. It's tough to go on road trips as bands here, but if the venues are packed when they do it will make it all that much more worthwhile. Come along for the ride, and keep the rock rolling.
