Thai Food, Tina Turner, Danzig lunchboxes (http://www.necaonline.com/product/detail/02350), George Michael Bluth, Cole Porter, Girls, Donald Barthelme, Whimsy and malcontent, http://flickr.com/photos/sagbottom/sets/592184/, McSweeny's T-Shirts ('We Both Love Soup', 'Impossible You Say? Nothing Is Impossible When You Work For The Circus) are wholeheartedly endorsed by The Welcome Committee and should we ever meet it would be nice to both be sporting such a bespoke garment (especially 'We Both Love Soup'), Robert Wyatt, Closing the curtains too early for Autumn, Sludge-Core (but not post Sludge-Core and most definitely not Alt-Sludge-Core: nonces), Small cinemas full of people older than me, Films in bed with Scotch, Sam Cooke
The Welcome Committee are with arms wide walking. They want you to feel welcome. They are those people at stations with signs. They hug, they do not shake hands. They currently number three although at the moment geography prevents the entire faction being fufilled. The Welcome Committee do not lose members, only gain them on the sweet bye-and-bye. This makes them sound like somewhat of a cultish enterprise, or zombies. If pressed, the Welcome Committee would rather be zombies.
They sometimes sing of disillusioned pirates and of hybrid wildlife. In the future they hope to sing of more personal matters, such as bats and drams, moonlit ghosts, crows and mermaids hair. The Welcome Committee want to be woozy drunk so that you'll catch them in a big city and punch out the lights. They are sticklers for inconsistency. Fake blood is welcome (they love the taste), as are photocopiers (they love the smell) and crickets (they love the sound). They are doing their best, they really are but it is not easy. They have drunk too much medicine and need a hug.

Great new song. So you're responsible for broadening my literary horizons as well~I'd never heard of him until about 5 minutes ago, and now I want to read everything he's ever written. Me and Miss Mandible?! Mmmm.
Alright fella? Yeah I haven't been on here in ages that's the reason for the late reply. we don't have any gigs lined up but I might try and do an acoustic one at uni if I can. Are you still in Bristol then? I saw Becci the other day and she said she and Tom are back to live in Bristol, so I plan to meet up with them next week or so, if you're about come along too it'd be good to see ya.
