Unfortunately, we are no longer a band (and have not been for over a year now). I personally think that its really flattering that we still get messages and show offers even this long after having had to call it quits.
IF YOU LIKE THE RECLINERS, then please check out the new band that Steve and I have formed. We are called Legal Lies, and our music is a reggae/hip-hop/rock/dub/world/punk/so-on-and-so-forth. In other words "VERY ECLECTIC".

Classic Recliners Clip of the Month: Pirates (Original Version), first time it was ever played, Live 2003
one-of-a-kind ska band with a very unique sound. It all started nearly four years ago when a group of friends decided to cover some ska songs for their school talent show. Over the years the band has seen it all: drug addict trombones, drop-out trumpets, etc. This is about as hardcore as ska gets. Miraculously, they have persevered, and emerged from the smoke alive, and rocking harder than ever. They have shared the stage with top-notch bands such as Big D and the Kids Table, The Voodoo Glow Skulls, Streetlight Manifesto, and Buck-O-Nine. The newest members are Joey Jack, and Steve on trombone, trombone, and trumpet, but at the core are the same guys that were there from the beginning: Ken Lapworth (guitar/lead vox), Ryan Daley (trumpet/bass/vox/guitar), and Stevo Kelly (drums/vox).

For those who haven't heard, we'll be in the studio these next few months to record a new album with the renowned reggae singer, Eyon Irie. After that it's summer shows and writing songs for the next Orbits album!

heyyy right its cuz i have grown up since i seen ya last lol how ya been? things have been okay here.. had a rough fathers day.. first one with out havin a dad.. depressin.. how's the job treatin ya? yeah man i'll text ya some time! oops, almost forgot to tell yah, this weekend was so much, par-tay! finally, i got some extra cash coming in, i started doing this things online where i just give my opinion on diff things, and i get paid for it. its like stupid easy. like, the last one i took, wanted to know which brand of batteries i prefer to use. like seriously, stupid easy! you should def try it out. you'll havef to type this link into internet explorer or firefox ... take care =]
Hi there The Recliners first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.
