The band was formed in the year of 2005 when the songwriter Kajsa Pehrsson left her hometown Umeå and moved to Stockholm. She was lucky to meet three tallented musicians with different background and great ambitions and together they became Red Carpet Riot.
The music is sweet and ruff at the same time, just like the life we are living, and the lyrics honest and naked.
In 2007/08 Red Carpet Riot made 16 live gigs in Stockholm,Umeå and Piteå. The experience of small acustic scenes and larger rock scenes (such as Mosebacke and Scharinska villan) has made them a great confident live band.

Hej Kajsa!!Hoppas allt är bra med dig. Jag kommer att spela med mitt band, Minttu, på lördag på kafé 44. Vore kul om du ville komma o lyssna. Vi börjar spela vid elva o det kostar 40 kr.
Äntligen har du lagt upp nya låtar. Det känns bra. Jag kan poppa in här ibland och bara njuta. Jag har sagt det förut, men man glömmer så snabbt hurrarop efter spelningar, så jag säger det nu igen att jag tycker du är skitbra!
