The legend tells that The Red Crayon Aristocrat Club came up from a cold dark night in winter ‘08, when Hélène* and H. Zombie decided to change the course of their lifes - and many other people lifes - across the ambitious but possible idea of creating an exclusive club, which members have in common the taste for a kind of enigmatic and sophisticated music. Their spiritual leaders -Ladytron, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Portishead, Les Rhytmes Digitales, Kraftwerk, Joy Division, Talking Heads, The Raveonettes, Crystal Castles, The Clash- guides them through a musical way that mixes synthpop, new wave, post-punk or garage, and they write their manifest in the way of songs. Songs for dreamers, who do not conform with the evident thing, and want to see and listen something more.

Soon they calls the attention of the French netlabel Zorch Factory Records, who publishes in October 2008 their debut self titled EP, in free download format and under Creative Commons license, to be able to spread their sound with the minor possible restrictions. It includes four original songs and The Clash's "Stay Free" cover, with a solid self-production that mixes synthesizers and guitars with Hélène's sweet and sensual voice. Only a few months later, in March 2009, they launch with the same label and format its continuation, which they titled "Stories of cruelty and beauty", and in that they confirm their lack of fear and prejudices approaching also the trip-hop style and daring with a cover of the punk-hardcore band SNFU. And in December of 2009 they close this initial trilogy with "Not for this world", putting again in manifest their aptitude to build attractive and intelligent songs and their skill to mix in their musical shaker pop, electro, new wave, dance rock and everything that has to be with synthesizers, adding their personal stamp. This leads them to be featured at Fred Perry Subculture as one of the best new bands worldwide.

Their songs have appeared also in several compilations, like "Come On, Lucinda!" (Lucinda Records), "Howly Night" (afmusic/Zorch Factory Records) or "Nuevos Talentos MySpace ' 09" (dyem101), and they have obtained excellent results in several musical contests: semifinalists in Projecto Demo 09 and 10, and finalists in Lagarto 09, Festival Sin Códigos Licor 43 and Vodafone’s Ones To Watch. Besides, throughout these months they have played several concerts and played in the festivals Ebrovisión, Suite Festival and Lagarto 09, as well as in the MZK Sessions in Callao's FNAC (Madrid) by the web Muzikalia. On stage they add to their offer the bonus of their attractive presence and the forcefulness that gives to their sound Gorka, the drummer that accompanies Hélène* and H. Zombie.

Now, seeing the interest of many people in getting their music in another different format from the digital one, they release a physical CD titled "All our little monsters", in which they compile all the original songs included in three EPS, plus one unreleased song, "Blue Skies". An album replete with potentials hits as "Lone Lines", "Fear", "Instead Of Me", "Another One" or the new song "Blue Skies", with the value added of being a collector’s piece, since it is published in a limited edition digipack, manufactured by the members of the club, and available through myspace page and specialty shops. A perfect occasion, for whom has not done it already, of joining the club definitively.

Cuenta la leyenda que The Red Crayon Aristocrat Club surge una fría y oscura noche del invierno de 2008, cuando Hélène* y H. Zombie deciden cambiar el rumbo de sus vidas -y el de muchas otras- a través de la ambiciosa pero factible idea de crear un exclusivo club cuyos miembros tengan en común el gusto por un tipo de música enigmática y sofisticada. Su nómina de líderes espirituales -Ladytron, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Portishead, Les Rhytmes Digitales, Kraftwerk, Joy Division, Talking Heads, The Raveonettes, Crystal Castles, The Clash- les guía por un camino musical que mezcla synthpop, new wave, post-punk o ..garage, y cuyo manifiesto serán sus propias canciones. Canciones para soñadores que no se conforman con lo evidente y quieren ver y escuchar más allá.

No tardan en llamar la atención del netlabel francés Zorch Factory Records, que publica en octubre de 2008 su EP homónimo de debut, en formato de descarga gratuita y bajo licencia Creative Commons, para poder difundir su sonido con las menores restricciones posibles. Incluye cuatro canciones originales y una versión de "Stay Free" de The Clash, con una sólida autoproducción que mezcla sintetizadores y guitarras con la dulce y sensual voz de Hélène. Solo unos meses más tarde, en marzo de 2009, lanzan con el mismo sello y formato su continuación, que titulan "Stories of cruelty and beauty", y en el que confirman su falta de miedo y prejuicios acercándose también al trip-hop y atreviéndose con una versión del grupo de punk-hardcore SNFU. Y en diciembre de 2009 cierran esta trilogía inicial con "Not for this world", poniendo de nuevo de manifiesto su capacidad para construir canciones atractivas e inteligentes y su habilidad para mezclar en su coctelera musical pop, electro, new wave, dance-rock y todo lo que se pone a tiro de sintetizador, añadiéndole su sello personal.

Sus temas han aparecido también en varios recopilatorios, como "Come On, Lucinda!" (Lucinda Records), "Howly Night" (afmusic/Zorch Factory Records) o "Nuevos Talentos MySpace '09" (dyem101), y han conseguido excelentes resultados en varios concursos musicales: semifinalistas en Proyecto Demo 09 y 10, y finalistas en Lagarto 09, Festival Sin Códigos Licor 43 y Ones To Watch de Vodafone. Además, a lo largo de estos meses han dado varios conciertos y participado en los festivales Ebrovisión, Suite Festival y Lagarto 09, así como en las MZK Sessions organizadas en la FNAC de Callao (Madrid) por la web Muzikalia. Ahora, dado el interés de muchos de sus fieles por conseguir su música en otro formato distinto al digital, editan un CD físico que lleva por título "All our little monsters", en el que recopilan todas las canciones originales incluidas en los tres EPS, más una inédita, "Blue Skies". Un álbum repleto de potenciales hits, como "Lone Lines", "Fear", "Instead Of Me", "Another One" o la propia "Blue Skies", con el valor añadido de ser una pieza de coleccionismo, ya que se publica en una edición limitadísima en digipack, manufacturada de modo artesanal y disponible a través de su myspace y de tiendas especializadas. Una ocasión perfecta, para quien no lo haya hecho ya, de unirse definitivamente al club.
