The Red Season began in late 2007 when Tim Fitzpatrick and Chris Fleming (both formerly of Nothing Plural) wanted to start a project together. They asked friend Mike Goldense (of Our Twilight Pastime) to join on guitar. After only one practice, Chris enlisted his brother Bob Fleming (formerly of Grieving for Grace) on drums.
In the summer of 2009, Mike left the band on amicable terms to pursue his dream to open a cheese shop. After playing as a 3 piece (Tim switching to acoustic guiter) for about 2 months, the band resolved to enlist Matt Russell on bass (former bassist of Fortune & Spirits).
The Red Season is essentially 4 friends who are relatively well-mannered and down to earth. Although they often like to play as loud as possible, they have been known to play more stripped down sets at some venues.
In the mean time we're tightening our set and getting some shows lined up. We hope to release an E.P. at some point in the near future tentatively titled "haunted, but well-kept".

Directed to Chris from The Red Season : Thank you! That's very kind of you to listen and enjoy, don't worry about the excessive comments it will just remind me of how much you liked the songs.
Directed towards The Red Season : I also enjoyed your songs as well. The music and the sound of the voices blend well together. Good luck on your upcoming show!
I have to make a mix cd for my school so they have something to play in the auditorium as parents walk in for open house night and that type of stuff, and I'm putting 'Our Monument' on it.
Just thought you'd like to know.
It's going to be the track that comes after 'Stay' by Lisa Loeb.
