There is something so wonderfully seductive about the cello where it comes in like a low hum weaving through the joyfully light strumming of guitar and organ in the Last Sing-A-Long (at about the 1:18 to 2:08 mark) on your album. I was stuck how it shares an odd little similarity to “Two bees” by Bellman Barker at about the 1:47 to 2:36 mark on their myspace page. Not a direct match by any extent, just a similar use of an interweaving low flowing melody moving through an insistently repetitious structure. It’s no wonder you are myspace friends - have you ever played together?
I popped your cd into my stereo and it's still there. Sounds fantastic! Really impressed. That reminds me, I meant to give you a copy of an acoustic demo we threw together this past week or so. I'll try to remember to bring one next time I check you guys out. Great show the other night.
