The Reeves are a bluegrass husband/wife duo from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with Terita on vocals and acoustic guitar, and Mike on vocals, bass, acoustic guitar, banjo and dobro. Mike has many years of experience in playing in several bands over the last 20 years, most recently as a founding member of one of Pennsylvania's top Country bands The Gritzz. Terita's unique old time country bluegrass voice brings an authenticity to the group rarely found in the big city.
Their respective musical backgrounds have combined to create this band, affording them the opportunity to play and sing the music they love. The Reeves’ unique repertoire spans from Hank Williams to the Wreckers with a varied mix of bluegrass and country in between.
In addition to their work as a duo, Mike and Terita are members of the Boulevard Express bluegrass band from Philadelphia. They are also regular attendees of the Holmesburg Jam in Northeast Philly. http://www.holmesburgjam.com/

Four more little sonic gems for your August pleasure are now available on the site. Blitzen Trapper, Boulder Acoustic Society, Jay Brannan and The Wiyos. Yet another fine quartet even though we say so ourselves as picked them out.
