Influences	Taste. Smell. Sights. Sounds. Touch. Being able to appreciate both the noise of a busy street and the quiet of a country lane. Being able to appreciate both The Fall and Beethoven. We're possess a desire to bring something sincere to people's ears. There is so little sincerity in the world of popular music, it's frightening.
Sounds Like	All the artists we like with all the rubbish bits taken out and replaced with some better bits.

About The Refuseniks

The Refuseniks.

Not just a band name, but a statement of intent.
We refuse to sit down and watch the world pass us by.
We refuse to sink quietly into the background without attempting to get into your consciousness.
We refuse to be simple voyeurs in life, rather to observe as much as we can and interact in the best way possible.
Life is too short for us to allow ourselves to be a product of our environment. We intend to make our environment a product of ourselves.
We hope you will accept our invitation to refuse these things too and join our quest for something better.

We have played gigs in Ireland, England, Paris and New York. We are currently rehearsing following a line-up change since a relocation from Ireland. We intend to record new songs in the coming weeks which we will make available on Myspace..
