Eon Ballo Ballinger, late of the parish Honeyhead is currently residing in The Reign Parade following an overlong sabbatical.
Eon learned his musical chops as a young mod about town (namely Chatham). He dug far deeper than the ironically named Mod revival and discovered 45s from The Move, Small Faces and the highly influential Creation (who would figure again later). Through spending time - that may have been misspent on homework - in a local record store, he also learned that Yellow Submarine was not the standout track on Revolver, that Abba were actually rather good and albums by T. Rex and Kraftwerk would fit in nicely next to his copies of Sound Affects and Searching for the Young Soul Rebels.
Fast forward to Eon the musician and Honeyhead. They got as far as the NME rated The Taste Of Love album, TV, radio, gigs etc. but the disappointment of a record deal that was, and then wasnt, along with the obligatory internal wrangles turned the Honey sour. Despite this, Eon was being noticed and he spent the next few days, then months and suddenly it was years with such luminaries as Buzzcocks, Ian McNabb, The Psychedelic Furs and he was even there when the aforementioned Creation were re-Created.
So what of Eon? He has a new life in France. Hes made a small living, a lot of love and a whole heap of music. In fact, the wonderfully titled Normal Wisdom is his third album worth of ditties since morphing into The Reign Parade a little over 16 months ago. Lets face it, it would take 16 months for some bands to think of an album title, let alone record three!
However quantity can equal quality as one listen to The Reign Parade will show. Eon is passionate about his music. He adores the music of the artists listed above but he LOVES the music of The Reign Parade. So will you.

Its been a bit quiet of late, not had alot of time to keep this place ticking over. Anyway ive finaly got around to adding some differant songs, maybe some of you will have heard them and some wont. There are very early demos and a storming live version of News Of The World, plus the 1st mix of Eton Rifles. Ive also added some new youtube videos and new pics on the front page.
