ABOUT THE GROUP
Darnell Davis & The Remnant is a community based gospel ensemble with a ministry & musical style that that extends across traditional, contemporary and urban landscapes, allowing the group to reach many with the powerful message of the gospel. While The Remnant was established in 2004, the group is made up of seasoned professionals and veterans in the gospel industry. Founder and director, F. Darnell Davis is and has been the key writer for many of the Twin Cities best knowon gospel goups, including Excelsior, James Grear & Company, and the Sounds Of Blackness.
Darnell is also credited with songs wrtitten for the Minneapolis Gospel Sound, Tarrlyn Ramsey and Ricky Dillard. The Remnant's founder and visionary, F. Darnell Davis, better known as "Baby D", was considered to be one of the best kept secrets in gospel music. But in 2002 everything changed with the release of Excelsior's single "It's my Time." Immediately Darnell was noted as the driving force, key writer, and producer behind Verity Reccording Artist Excelsior's 2002 Stellar Award and Excelsior's 2003 Stellar and Grammy nominations.

Psalms of the Remnant is the debut offering from Grammy-nominated and Stellar award-winning songwriter and producer F. Darnell Davis. Darnell offers a fresh gospel ensemble sound along with a BONUS DVD that includes an exclusive interview with the producers and THREE exciting performance videos. The CD includes the song Stop Frontin' featuring Stokley from Mint Condition and over 75 minutes of dynamic gospel and worship music.
