The Remnants are Tom Boynton (guitar, vocals), Tom Fridrich (drums,vocals), Jay Turner (bass, vocals) and Pete Kanaras (guitars) from Annapolis & Baltimore, MD. Their latest CD "American Grit" proves to be their most personal and political release to date on their own indie label Slow Summer Records. Due now in July 2008 the long awaited 5th CD was recorded at Wrightway Studios in Baltimore with acclaimed engineer Steve Wright and mastered at Rodney Mills Masterhouse in Atlanta, GA. "American Grit" showcases more of the southern tinged rock, blues and pop style that has made them fan favorites throughout the Mid Atlantic region.
