If you have lived in Phoenix, Arizona long enough then there is a good chance that that you have heard of “The Rep”. This artist, also known as Brandon Kagel, is a native to the fastest growing city in the US. He was born into a Jewish family as a triplet with two sisters and an older brother. Although, he did make the news for his miraculous entrance he is better known for his ability to create music and touch lives.
“The Rep, who is currently the best-selling local gospel rapper, has moved around 3,500 copies of his album Street Prophecy. Other area Christian rappers consider that a success since he didn't have any distribution or promotion behind him.”

Since the release of his first project in ..01, titled Street Prophecy, “The Rep” toured across the U.S. and appeared on T.B.N. on three separate occasions. Not only has he raised the ears of the Gospel industry but he has also captivated the minds of the secular alike. “Proof”, a former member of Eminem’s “D12" contacted “The Rep” in interest of his music prior to his unfortunate murder on April 11, 2006.
What separates “The Rep” from most artists is not talent, but character. He is a dedicated husband and father of 2 beautiful children. For the last 10 years he has been invited into hundreds of churches around the world to minister the gospel as well as perform. In addition, for over several years he has partnered with The Crisis Pregnancy Centers of Greater Phoenix, a non-profit/pro-life organization, going into high schools and teaching the youth about sexual purity and abstinence.
With his new album, Say No More, only a few months out the expectations are high! In the first three weeks “The Rep” sold over a thousand copies. Once again, he did it without any promotion, distribution, or label help. He also became a two time recipient of the 2008 Phoenix Music Awards as well as a two time recipient of the 2008 LA Music Awards for his music video, “My Life, My struggle”. His vision is to flood the message of truth through MTV, BET, and every major entertainment source. Yesterday afternoon my uncle Carlos Aguilera was left at Tri-City Hospital!
someone just dropped him off and left him there with an overdose...please im asking for all your prayers hes in a heavy condition right now and has trouble breathing....we need a miracle and we need god to open up his eyes and see whats around him.....please
help me and my family pray for my uncle Carlos Aguilera and pray that GOD has mercy on the people who just left him there at the hospital..
