Influences
The Reportage have an eclectic list of influences ranging from acoustic rock to grunge to indie to funk All these influences are fused to create The Reportage's own distinct sound.
The Reportáge formed in the summer of 2006 out of a mutual love of rock, indie, funk and the written word in all its forms. The band are currently building up a gigging schedule and are progressively writing more material, taking inspiration from multiple genres including Rave and R+B.
The latest recording session tendered their debut demo/E.P cd entitled "What Goes on Behind Closed Doors" and was on low-key release to the general public from 4th June 2007. The cd was the culmination of almost one year's efforts since the forming of the band the previous summer, and included the three tracks the band were happiest to loose onto the general public.
The product of this recording is available to listen to from the top of the page. If you would like a cd, send a message with name and postal information.
