“Historic. A new band composed of three of L.A.’s finest singer-songwriters. It was as if these three had been born for this moment, such was the chemistry emanating from the stage. The Rescues have everything they need to become the leaders in a musical revolution.”
-Music Connection
“Unforgettable. The first Indie Supergroup. Fleetwood Mac with harmonies like Crosby Stills and Nash and the edginess of Concrete Blonde. The Rescues may be brand new, but have shown that they are at a level above everything else on the L.A. music scene.”
-Easy Reader
“Pure musical bliss. Imagine a singer-songwriter with powerhouse vocals, poignant songwriting and instrumental mastery. Now multiply it by three.”

The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. No band in recent history illustrates that notion better than LA newcomers, The Rescues. Comprised of three successful and critically acclaimed solo singer-songwriters in their own right - Adrianne, Kyler England and Gabriel Mann - The Rescues have more than 15 albums, dozens of songwriting awards, and thousands of miles on the road between them.
The Rescues have awakened a dormant L.A. tradition of the best of the music scene joining together to make something greater than themselves. Says Mann, “A lot of people compare our music to the lyrical and vocal traditions of The Eagles and Fleetwood Mac. We feel like the world needs that kind of music: thick and indispensable.” The Rescues’ music harkens back to a time when friends got together in a room and wrote songs about things that mattered. “Individually we couldn’t be more different,” Adrianne says. “And yet the same things move us. I think that’s why it works.” Kyler: “None of us ever expected to be in a band - I think we’re all still surprised at how fast, yet how naturally The Rescues has evolved.”
Some have called The Rescues an “Indie Supergroup,” but they’re just three friends singing honest, real, and seamlessly-crafted pop songs, in three-part harmony. Yet the making of this band was a long time coming. “I met Adrianne back at Berklee College of Music when I still had my North Carolina accent and she had fewer tattoos,” says Kyler. Adrianne “moved to LA and met Gabe at a show and we fell in love. With each other’s songs, that is,” she says with a laugh. “Eventually Kyler got here too, but by that point we were so deep into our solo careers that it never occurred to us to form a band,” adds Gabe. Enter a friend and fan of all three with a vision and an upcoming wedding. Said fan hired the three to perform a concert at his reception, and The Rescues were born.
Individually they have toured all 50 states and Europe, both on their own and sharing the stage with Alanis Morrissette, Sting, Avril Lavigne, The Rolling Stones, Kelly Clarkson, Gavin Degraw, Bonnie Raitt, Annie Lennox, Guster and many others. They have played at Sundance, SXSW, CMJ, and England’s V Festival. They have taken top honors in the USA, John Lennon, Unisong, Mid-Atlantic, and International Songwriting Contests. Their songs have been featured on television shows including Arrested Development, One Tree Hill, Studio 60, Men In Trees, The Hills, What About Brian, Real World and many others.
Since the January release of their debut EP, The Rescues have played to sold-out crowds on tour in the southeast and in their home base of Los Angeles. Their songs have been placed in film and television, including the upcoming “The Lucky Ones” starring Rachel McAdams and Tim Robbins, the recent Superhero Movie, and an upcoming episode of Army Wives on Lifetime.
The Rescues’ full length album, “Crazy Ever After,” is set for a September 9 release on Red Wind Records, distributed by Adrenaline Music Group/ADA. The first single “Break Me Out” has already debuted on FMQB’s AAA Public Breakout Chart and around the one year anniversary of that first fateful show, Myspace featured The Rescues in the Myspace Records Spotlight.
“We didn’t know we were missing something until this band came along. Now none of us can imagine life without it,” The Rescues agree. Like strays from a shelter, The Rescues have found their home.
