Welcome to The Retro Game Band's Myspace! We cover retro game tunes from the 80's and early 90's. Commodore 64, Spectrum, Master System, NES, Amiga, Atari ST, PC, Megadrive (Genesis), SNES; any games system before music became too realistic!
Early game music composers were extremely limited, often having access to only 4 channels of music, and severely limited by memory. Yet they were also totally free from technique and could truly concentrate on making the best of the little they had.
We pay homage to these early composers by turning their tunes into real-life rock, jazz, funk and metal renditions. We hope you enjoy!
