   About The Revelator Band
A rag-tag Band, this. Bolting from disparate corners of time, space and Yorkshire, a new group emerges from the moonlit night to take centre stage in the quest for a true alternative to Alternative. Our destination? Uncharted territory, new and familiar. We are here to find and explore the heart and soul of All Things. Pounding drums and tall stories, bodyshaking tunes with depth and truth, a Band - The Band - you can dance AND think with. We have not been here very long. But let us in and we will stay with you forever.

Dear friends,

Our EP launch is creeping ever nearer it would be most fantastic if you could attend! It's going to be seriously horse!

It's Saturday the 30th of May at The Library. It's an early start, early finish job (6pm - 11pm) and we are on at 9pmish. Tickets are £4 from Crash of Jumbo or on the door.

We are surrounded by brilliant bands such as our label mates The Light Streams (also launching their new EP), our old pals The Voltaires, our new friends The Feelies Inc. and we have transpennine excitement from Little Tremors.

Our EP, titled A GLimpse of Lightning will available on the night and is released the 1st of June. It's real hot. The Remix version is actually available now at www.silverlodeonline.co.uk.

Stay happy, be lucky

yes, we have been known to venture as far as manchester, we had a potential offer of a gig there which never materialized, there's a band called the greetings there, you should check them out and get them involved too.
i hope to hear from you soon.

We of the good ship Bootscraper think it would be an opportunity only a fool would miss were we to not take you up on your offer of a joint offensive on the ears of the unsuspecting Yorkshirians, you name the time and place and we shall splice the mainbrace, shiver the timbers and fudge the tunnels... in short YES!
