  • Bio

The Reverend and his Mass are a raucous mix of blues, roots, southern gospel, urban country, and good ol’ rock n roll. “Hard Times a Coming”, one track off the upcoming disc, was the 4th place winner of BC Musician magazines’ 2009 songwriting competition..... The Reverend Rambler’s message is one of good tidings and hope for the disconnected masses in today’s increasingly digitalized, hyper-urban world. Trends come and go, styles change, but there is a bedrock of life’s commonalities that the Reverend explores in his lyrics and arrangements. Hearkening back to old time values and images, the Reverend brings these themes up to date with his live performances and his new recording..... The Reverend Rambler himself, is a veteran of the Winnipeg, MB, scene. Having played with a number of rock and punk bands during his youth, The Reverend has also played the Winnipeg Folk Fest, appears on Cheering for the Bad Guy’s eponymous debut disc (2007), and currently also plays with the recently re-united Red River Ramblers. Returning home to Winnipeg from Kelowna in 2009, the Reverend Rambler is now prepared to bring his Mass of Reparation to audiences in the East, West, and beyond..... - Sheldon Birnie, Cheering For The Bad Guy .. >.. .. .. .. .. .. .... .... .. ..made with the cosmicode ..Myspace Generator.... .. .... .. ..
