About me:

The Revival House

The Revival House is back for Fall!!

We've got a new home, Mama Calizo's Voice Factory.

We've got a new format - classic, queer double features.

Now through November you can see twice as much queer cinema as before!!

We've got two incredible selections by Bruce LaBruce for our October 28th screening-

"The Revolution is My Boyfriend" and a Revival House favorite"No Skin Off My Ass".

The Revolution is My Boyfriend (Dir. Bruce LaBruce: Germany, 2004/06)

"The Revolution is My Boyfriend" picks up, pornographically, where the "Rasberry Reich" stopped. In 2006, Director Bruce LaBruce, revisited his masterpiece and edited the hardcore footage, originally excluded from the official release, back in. The result was "The Revolution is My Boyfriend". Identical in almost every other way, this film provides a carnal view into the filmmaker's original vision. A hysterical film and one of his best efforts!

No Skin Off My Ass (Dir. Bruce LaBruce: Canada, 1991)

One of his best films and a Revival House favorite!

SO STOKED about your program, kids! Much Chagrined that I'll be in Asia for the Narcissus screening on the 26th. I think I've only ever seen a super scratchy betamax version in my neighbor's basement the summer between my junior and senior year of highschool... j/k. But that'd be hot though eh? Yay Porn!
