Influences
I'd say my biggest influences range from KISS to Keith Urban and a lot of other folks in between. Stars like Gene Pitney David and Shaun Cassiday, Roy Orbison, Ricky Nelson, John Berry and the teo above (KISS and Keith Urban).

I've always been involed with music in one form or another and other types of performing arts. The bands I've been in have mostly been garage style gigs and a few bars here and there. Some of their names have been Satan's Lot, K.O.T. (The Knights of Terror), Hereafter and Darkangel. I've also did a few deno tracks and covers under the names of Richart Drake Lewis and Elvis Drake. Just recently I started performing under the name of The Ricky Dee Lewis Project because everyone down home in Tennessee calls me Ricky Dee and this entire affair is a peoject in the works. I don't hope to get rich at this or anything because my main focus is writing novels, short stories, poetry and lyrics. I perform because people either ask me to or are on my case about doing it. All my original demo CDs were given away to friends and family just because they wanted something and it went over like hotcakes. I love the sound of KISS and started out writing my own material in that fashion and then later switched to the country rock sound. My voice tends to sound bit like Elvis on most songs because of all the Elvis Drake songs I've done, but not because I want it too.
