yeah. i've read a lot about the medication and apparently it's like a strong toxic insecticide that kills off all the heartworm larvae if there are any. it's not doing anything preventative. is the vaccine like the same thing? i guess it's kinda rare to have a reaction but bentley is always sick for about a week once a month around the time of his medication. poor little guy. aww, and poor leroy with his allergies! i can't believe there is nothing to help him get better. it's so sad to watch dogs be so helpless and in pain. i was watching tv yesterday and like every other commercial break they kept playing that sarah mclachlan aspca commercial...it's torture.
