Telling of how, when and why this band got started holds very little relevance to what, and where we are today. There are, without a doubt, similarities to countless other bands that you have read about ad nauseam. Yes, we started out in someone’s basement. Yes, we have played good shows and bad shows. We have even had people leave only to have new people join. There were girls, people fought over them. Bills even went unpaid, so that we could go on tour.
What is different is that at least we are honest about it. There is no need to write about the trials and tribulations that have occurred. Everyone already knows them. There is no need to stroke our egos by name-dropping, and boasting about all the bands we’ve played with. We feel we can stand on our own. And, mostly, there is no use in trying to persuade you that we are anything but what we are…four people that believe so strongly in what we are doing that even though things break apart, and dreams become unraveled, we continue to push even harder. Or maybe we are simply too prideful and stupid to know when to quit.
Either way we are The Right Aways.

Not cool to see all this jazz about a final show (don't do the myspace thing too often, a little behind the times). Anywho, thought of you guys for some reason this morning and since it's been forever I thought I would stop by and say hello. Hope all is well with everyone. Peace
From Secret Sauce and The Ghetto Cherubs To the demise of the Right Aways I've always enjoyed the music that came from you guys. Wish I could have been to the last show. Good Luck with the next chapter of your lives. Peace out!
