I know this is going to make me sound like an idiot, but I am only 19. I learned a lot from you guys. I didn't know what indocrination was before I heard it in "Shut and Teach." And I didn't know what the Rinos were either (although, I still don't know what they are, but I know they existed now). :D
That was really lame, but I wanted to tell you that.
Keep up the good work. If you haven't done so already you guys should do a song dedicated to Ted Kennedy and the whole liberal state of Massachusetts the way they vote!! They've given the U.S. Teddie, John Kerry and Michael Dukakis just to name a few. Just food for thougt. Great music!
So, my friend told me that her history professor is always saying how he hates Bush. He made the class watch the State of the Union and they had to write a paper about it. He told them if they said anything Pro-Bush, they would pretty much fail. At that point I wondered what I would do. Lie just for a good grade or say what I believe and fail? I came to the conclusion that I would probably say what I believe to prove to him that he can fail me but that doesn't mean I'm going to lie about my beliefs. I was like, "I should tell me friend to tell her teacher, next time he says that stuff, tell him to "Shut Up and Teach." Obviously she would do that though. I would be tempted to if I were her though.
Hey guys!! I would love to hear a song that will defend/say something positive about George W Bush. I am no song writer, so I really can't offer you anything. Sorry. I just think it woould really be refreshing to hear something nice about him. I am tired of everybody blaming Bush for EVERYTHING!! You guys rock and I will be following you closely.. sincerely, christy
Thanks for the add! I had your "The List" video on my page for a while but seemed to have been removed from Youtube. Keep up the good work--libs can't tolerate being mocked.
I finally bought your albums and have throughly enjoyed them. I especially enjoy the bits of humor that you add to your songs like the guitar in "Bush was Right", the bleeps in "So What About the Issues", and the "Feed the World"-sounding bells in "What to Get a Liberal for Christmas". You guys also have a knack for writing entertaining songs that mock everything from their issues to their *ahem* "debating" skills.
It was nice buying music where I didn't feel guilty for funding some ignorant entertainer and their "cause". It's even worse when you only find out by reading something buried in the CD booklet!
A politically-oriented band that actually has something intelligent to say? It still seems strange to me. Since the left has corrupted the phrase "socially-responsible", maybe your band can refer to itself as "intellectually-responsible"? :)
I don't know what I would do without you guys. Today in my history club meeting we were picking quotes to put on the back of t-shirts. I submitted some quotes, but most of them were conservative. Everyone in the club was bashing my quotes. One of them was even a quote about how great our country was, it was said by Bush Senior. They just said, "You better not go to another country and wear that. You'll get beat up." I was just thinking, "Well, I don't plan on leaving the country anytime soon." They read the rest and I just sat there in silence, bashing, while they made fun of my quotes. Afterword, I saw the president of the College Republican, on our campus, I just wanted to hug him and get some Republican love(obviously I didn't though). I came back to my dorm and listened to you guys and I felt so much better. So, thanks. :)
"Bush was RIGHT" is absolutely RIGHT! So many liberals will do whatever it takes to discredit him, but he never relents or folds. What a truly great President and man!
Thanks so much for the add! You guys have the RIGHT kind of message in your music. (okay, that was really cheesy...I'm embarrassed). Take Care & God Bless, Melissa Ellis Benjamin
The Right Brothers is a straight-up badass band, I wish I could get my friends listening to you guys but their all liberal so that will never happen. But keep it up I love your music.
