    The RipOFF is Washington, DC's dance night focussing on Electro and Design. Recently the RipOFF has expanded their entertainment medium with the sounds of drum and bass, house, downtempo, baltimore club, hip hop and dubstep. Started by Houston and Scotbot in the Spring of 2008, the RipOFF has already become one of WDC's up-and-coming events. In the summer of 2008 they added letmeride.com's Illy to host their events and booked acts like Treasure Fingers, Designer Drugs, True Pseudo, Computer Club and RRRump. The RipOFF has also had local talent's Matt Nordstrom of Nadastrom, Gavin Holland, Dj Stereo Faith, along with Baltimore favorites, Hip Hop Dan and Uncle Jessie. With partnerships with Frank 151 and Killahbeez.com, The RIpOFF will continue in 2009 to expand it's events and bring in more up and coming acts to Washington, DC.
